Payment & Shipping Policy

1. Dispatch and Delivery Schedule

SMART4LESS® aims to dispatch all orders placed during business hours on the same working day, subject to order verification and stock availability. Working days are defined as Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays. While we strive for same-day dispatch regardless of the time the order is placed, this is not guaranteed and may be affected by order volume or operational constraints.

Orders may be dispatched to either:

  • The registered billing address associated with the payment method, or

  • An alternative delivery address, subject to successful completion of our address verification procedures.

SMART4LESS® reserves the right to change the designated carrier or shipping method without prior notice, provided that any replacement service is of equal or greater value and quality.

Orders will not be charged to your selected payment method unless stock is confirmed as available and allocated for immediate dispatch.


2. Shipping Regions and Delivery Conditions

SMART4LESS® currently delivers exclusively within the United Kingdom. Orders may arrive in multiple shipments, depending on item availability and logistics. Not all delivery options are available for all products, and limitations may apply due to item size, weight, or value.


3. Delivery Options and Charges

Posting & Packaging Rates

  • Standard Delivery (3–5 Working Days): Free of charge

  • Expedited Delivery (2–3 Working Days via Royal Mail): From £4.99*

  • Next Working Day Delivery (Royal Mail Special Delivery): From £9.99*

Important Notes:

  1. “Next Working Day” applies only to orders placed before 12:00 PM (noon) on business days.

  2. Saturdays, Sundays, and UK public holidays do not qualify as working days.

  3. The dispatch day is not counted as the first working day in the delivery estimate.

  4. (*) Some services require a signature upon delivery.


4. Delivery Method Details

UK Standard Delivery (Free Service)

Delivered via Royal Mail 2nd Class, with an estimated delivery timeframe of 3–5 working days from dispatch.

Next Working Day Delivery

Delivered via Royal Mail Special Delivery, applicable to qualifying orders placed before 12:00 PM Monday to Friday. Orders placed:

  • Before 12:00 PM Friday will be delivered on the following Monday.

  • After 12:00 PM Friday, or on Saturday/Sunday, will be delivered the following Tuesday.


5. Undelivered or Delayed Orders

If your order has not arrived within the expected timeframe:

  1. Please review your order confirmation and dispatch emails.

  2. Allow for weekends, bank holidays, and postal delays.

  3. If the item is not received within 5 working days after the estimated delivery date, please contact SMART4LESS® customer service.

Orders containing multiple items may be shipped separately from different locations. This will be noted in your dispatch notification email. All delivery issues must be reported to SMART4LESS® within 30 days of the original dispatch date.


6. Signature Upon Delivery

Some items dispatched by SMART4LESS® may require a signature upon delivery. If no one is available to accept the delivery, the carrier will leave a card with instructions for redelivery or collection. In the case of Royal Mail, collection can be arranged from your local delivery office with valid identification and the delivery notice.


7. Back Orders

SMART4LESS® does not permit purchases of items that are marked as out of stock. However, in rare cases where inventory levels change during the checkout process, your order may be placed on backorder. In such instances, we will contact you with:

  • An estimated restock or delivery date,

  • The option to select an alternative product, or

  • The opportunity to cancel your order for a full refund.


8. Alternative Delivery Addresses

If you wish to ship your order to an address other than the billing address registered to your credit/debit card or PayPal account, we may require additional identity or address verification for security and fraud prevention purposes.


9. Payment Authorisation

All payments must be authorised before dispatch. Payment is not charged until stock is allocated to your order. We reserve the right to cancel or reject any order in cases of suspected fraud, billing discrepancies, or payment issues.


10. Modification of Terms

SMART4LESS® reserves the right to modify this Payment & Shipping Policy at any time without prior notice. Any such changes will apply to future transactions and will be reflected on this page.
